MONTREAL MOSH-CORE
D.I.Y. Montreal Crossover/Mosh-core band C.i.D.B. is has been playing house parties and rocking out in basements since 2018.
They are a 5 man band featuring rotating roles.
Main/songwriter and founding member Oscar (stage name Jimmy) plays guitar and sings but occasionally will step behind the kit and drum a few songs. Jimmy will play guitar and sing at the same time but sometimes for extra energy will let go of the guitar and unleash a vocal assault.
Other founding member Mischa is an animal behind the drums and will furiously pound the skins but will step up to the microphone to sing single Gay for Pay.
Marc the bassist is a tattooed gay icon as seen on his Onlyfans page where he shows off his full body lizard man tattoo and so much more. He is often seen at tattoo and furry expos.
Shakti, the second guitarist, is very recognizable in the scene as there are very few men from India who play punk rock music. He brings his unique influences to the band and is known to cover Bollywood songs acoustically for fun.
The second vocalist Jason brings the energy from the hardcore scene to the band with his classic sounding hardcore vocal style and is know for his extravagant live performance where he occasionally dresses up in cosplays or costumes to perform.
C.I.D.B have released our first Self titled EP on the Ottawa based cassette label Pils Records. We currently have 4 videos clips for the 5 song EP which are featured on the HCWW Youtube channel and the C.I.D.B Youtube channel.
C.I.D.B participated in the pan-Canadian tribute to the Ramones, The Ramones Projects, where there rendition of “Eat That Rat” was selected as one of the pre-release singles for the 3rd volume.
There latest album was recorded and mixed at Desolation Studio by Tom from Braindown/Cold Authority and will be released in 2024.
C.i.D.B. is known in the DIY punk scene as a great live act where the hilarious chemistry between both singers entertains the crowd. The fans enjoy the ever-changing sound of the music which varies between Punk rock, Hardcore and Thrash Metal.

C.I.D.B have played across Ontario and Quebec and we participated in the Ottawa Punkfest, Spiderfest and the Punx Make Noise Festival. We have also played in Cornwall, Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Drummondville and Toronto.
